Dedicated to Keeping Auburn Moving

Harry’s Tire has been part of the Auburn community since 1913, when Harry Chadwick opened the first location on Market Street in Auburn. For more than a century, local drivers have known the Harry’s name as a place to get straightforward advice, dependable work, and friendly service. The Riester family took over Harry’s Tire in 1983 and spent more than four decades building the business around a simple idea: take care of people, do the job right, and make automotive service as easy as possible. We welcomed walk-ins, stayed open on Saturdays, and assembled a team of experienced technicians who knew our customers—and their vehicles—by name. In March 2024, the business was sold as our family stepped away to spend more time together. After the shop later closed, we realized that Harry’s still had an important place in Auburn. In June 2025, the Riester family returned, brought back the original team, updated the equipment, and reopened the doors. Today, Harry’s Tire is back in the hands that built it. We’re still better with a wrench than we are at retirement, and we’re proud to once again provide the kind of old-fashioned service that has kept Auburn moving for generations. No complicated appointment process. No unnecessary pressure. Just experienced people, honest recommendations, and quality work. Harry’s Tire is open again—and back to work.
